Hello, Everyone!

My name is BackCheaSun Kim, and I am deeply passionate about archery with years of experience both as an athlete and a coach. I first picked up a bow in the fourth grade and have been actively involved in the sport ever since. Over the years, I have earned numerous awards in national competitions, and in my second year of university, I had the honor of serving as a reserve member of the Korean national team.

Career Summary

Competitive Archery Experience:
Since beginning my archery journey, I have consistently competed in national tournaments and achieved commendable results.

National Team Reserve Member:
As a sophomore in university, I served as a reserve member of the national team, gaining invaluable experience and refining my competitive skills.

Coaching Career:
After graduating, I began a career in coaching, guiding students to reach their goals and significantly improve their performance.

New Challenges

Since moving to the United States with my family in 2011, I have continued my involvement in archery as the Head Coach at Joy Lee Archery Club in California. There, I had the privilege of learning new techniques directly from Coach Lee, which I integrated into my training programs. These methods have helped many of my students achieve remarkable improvements and secure admissions to Ivy League and other prestigious universities.

Expertise

In 2019, I became the only Korean coach to obtain the Level 4 NTS Coach Certification—one of the highest coaching credentials in the United States. Building on my earlier coaching experience in Korea, I have worked with a diverse range of students and continually strive to grow both personally and professionally.

New Venture: BK Archery Club

In 2020, I relocated to Virginia and founded BK Archery Club with the mission of creating new opportunities and cultivating a passion for archery within the community.

With a strong passion for the sport and a wealth of experience, I am always ready to embrace new challenges and continue growing. My goal is to inspire others through my dedication to archery and to help individuals unlock their full potential.
